Great group of guys with amazing craftsmanship. You definitely get what you pay for with Briggs. I got a valved exhaust installed with them and they got it done in a day with proper wiring and great welds.

I brought my car to Briggs Motorsports in February 2024 for engine repairs and a suspected torque tube bearing issue. Seven months and $28,000 later, my car was still not in running condition from a previous shop's error.Β However, at Briggs Motorsports, I was charged nearly $4,000 for torque tube bushings and bearings, only to be told later the noise was just a loose exhaust clamp. Once I got my car back the car was overheating, the check engine light remained on, and the tune was so poor that my gas mileage dropped from 21+ MPG to 13 MPG. The clutch was so undriveable that the car lunged and chirped the tires at every stoplight. Iβve only been able to drive it ~1,000 miles because of how poorly it ran. The shop took seven months to finish the work. During my many visits to check on progress, the crew was busy working on Brigg's Mazda Miata race car while my vehicle sat on a lift. I also was repeatedly denied receipts for the $28k I spent.Β I even had to contact the Federal Trade Commission to report Brigg's shop for fraud. I could have bought and installed a brand-new crate engine for less than what I paid here. I had to take my car to another shop to redo all the work I already pa

Josh seems like a great guy and knowledgeable. They picked my car up last May. I had a psi harness with ecm and needed 5 wires to be connected to finish. Josh talked me into buying a haltech unit because he said it would be faster for them to get it going. So upon discussing it and Initial payment of 5k they took the vehicle in. After several months of periodically stopping in and checking it seemed like it was moving rather slowly. The next rolled around and still moving slowly. We then decided to move to another state and I stopped in to tell them we were going to be moving. I said I need the vehicle back to put things back in the vehicle since the interior was removed prior to them picking it up. It took a couple of months to finally pick the place we actually moved too. Meanwhile the car was still seemed to be moving slowly. The last day before we moved I went down to pick it up. It still wasn't ready. They told me they would drop it off the next day at my house in which they did. So I ended up reloading the car onto another trailer to tow since this is now moving day. In final after 7k and 11 months the vehicle almost returned as it had left and still not running, haltech not

Met with Josh Briggs before discussing plans for my motorcycle but I went a different route, needless to say he still was very knowledgeable and helpful through that process. Fast forward to me buying coilovers and wheels/tires for my GTI and I needed an install, corner balance, and alignment. Who better to call than the most highly recommended performance shop in the area? Called him up and talked. Gave professional opinions while allowing me to choose what I wanted. Didn't just do what he thought he should do. Dropped the car off late at night on a Monday, had the car delivered to my house while I was at work by Wednesday afternoon. If you're looking for performance mods from installs all the way to custom fabrication, you cannot forget Briggs. These guys do good work for a reasonable price. May spend more than you were initially thinking but you'll only have to do it once, and they'll stand by their work. Definitely will be returning for future mods!
